Bollywood actress and singer Shruti Haasan launched Dr. Rashmi Shetty’s book ‘Age Erase’ in Mumbai, India on July 11, 2014.

It was a rainy day but that didn’t stop her from upping her style quotient for the event. She wore a monochrome maxi by Sonaakshi Raaj, the black bodice played up with white piping and the white skirt grabbing attention with it’s thigh-high slit.

The outfit was accessorized with vintage dangle earrings by Curio Cottage, a bracelet and ring, a black clutch and black peep-toe pumps.

Lightly smoky eyes, a near-natural lippie and straight her left loose from a center parting completed her look.

It’s evident that the monochrome trend, although played out every day all over the world, is nowhere near going out of style and not very likely to either.
