Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s grand Wedding Reception

After a discreet wedding, actor Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput arranged a lavish reception at Mumbai’s posh Palladium Hotel on Sunday evening, July 12th. Check out the pictures of the cute newlywed couple from the celebration.

Shahid Kapoor went for his trusted designer friend Kunal Rawat for his reception outfit. He wore a three piece black suit featuring an embroidered waistcoat and a bow-tie. Dapper! The groom couldn’t have looked any better.

Meanwhile, his beautiful bride decided on India’s top designer Manish Malhotra for one of her first star studded appearance. Quite surprisingly, Mira kept her look low-key and picked a contemporary indigo-blue and white lehenga from Malhotra’s SS’15 collection. The lehenga skirt featured rich floral appliqués and embroidery detailing while the crop top/blouse was a delicate mixture of sheers, embellishments and heavy embroidery.

For jewelleries, Mira opted for a set of earrings, finger rings and bracelet by Nirav Modi. Even her make-up was kept rather subtle with black winged eyes against shimmery eye-shadow, flushed cheeks and toffee pink lip color. Understated but stunningly beautiful, Mira looked picture perfect!
