Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar of Indian cinema turned 70 this year. The occasion was celebrated with a huge bash at Reliance Media Works in FilmCity, Mumbai.
The whole Bachchan family was present at the bash with a rare sighting of the Nanda clan. Mrs.Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta and bahu Aishwarya were all spotted in Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla who, in turn celebrated their 25 years in the fashion industry this year.

Amitabh Bachchan looked suave in a black velvet bandhgala with ornate buttons and pops of red jutting under the cuff and neck. Mrs. Bachchan wore a lavishly embroidered red Abu-Sandeep Anarkali with a red-black dupatta to match Mr. Bachchan’s attire. The red mouth added to the vibrancy of the garment.
The lady is seldom seen wearing this fiery shade of red. It was a grand celebration after all and Mrs. Bachchan looked as beautiful as ever.

Mrs. Aishwarya Bachchan looked resplendent in an baroque ensemble by Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla. The intricate detailing on the garment was astonishing. The elegant off-white and gold ensemble was paired with gold danglers and beautiful open hair. The empire-line lengthened her curvaceous frame. She completed her look with sultry eyes and glossy pout.

The hair-do was so apt for this look. The make-up was refined with accentuated kohl-rimmed eyes and glossy lips. She attended the bash with her husband and son who both wore smart black bandhgalas.
