Life of Pi is the story of an Indian boy surviving 227 days on sea with a Bengal tiger in the Pacific Ocean. The book was written by Yann Martel and made in to a feature film by directo Ang Lee.
Hema Malini attended the premiere of Life of Pi at PVR in Mumbai. She wore a gorgeous black and gold sari and carried a black potli bag to the event. The black and gold necklace adorned her neck and complemented the sari very well.
Tabu, who also stars in the movie, Life of Pi, attended the premiere in a black and silver Abu-Sandeep Anarkali. She kept her hair slightly clutched at the back and open in the front. The border of the Anarkali had an elaborate work with silver and red. She definitely looked simple, yet, pretty.
Director of English Vinglish, Gauri Shinde was seen wearing a cut-out black top and blue denim. She accessorized with a brown leather bagand lovely curls.

Amrita Rao was spotted in a black gown at the premiere. She looked elegant in the hair-do and gown. The pretty pink nails were well, pretty! She accessorized with a chunky watch and diamond danglers.
The movie is releasing today and is a must watch for film lovers. Life of Pi will be worth a watch!
