Bollywood actors Sonakshi Sinha and Bipasha Basu – both style divas in their own right – were spotted at the opening of the new Marks and Spencer store in Mumbai, India on November 11, 2013. Marks & Spencer in partnership with Reliance Retail is aiming to make India its second largest market by more than doubling its number of stores in the country to 80. As interesting news as that is for all us shopaholic fashionistas, we were equally invested in checking out the leading ladies as they made quite the classy pair at the event.
Bipasha or Sonakshi – Who Wears the Dress Better?
Both Sonakshi and Bipasha wore similar dresses to the do. We know. Sonakshi in Western attire? Since she trimmed down her curves, her wardrobe has definitely expanded and she has been learning how to flaunt her fab figure in ensembles that are not saris, salwar kameezes or anarkalis. Thankk God!
So let’s take on Bipasha first. She has always loved pink, and she looks great in the colour to boot. Her dress was a deep pink, the hemline quite a few inches above her knees and the sleeves extending to beyond her elbows. Pocket detailing on the hips gave the dress a bit of character.

She rounded off her look with nude peep-toes, a statement necklace, a pink lippe and a lovely side-swept chignon.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi was getting on the nude bandwagon in a flesh-tone sheath dress that was simply beautiful. The neutral, knee-length number with short sleeves fit her like a glove and really made her enviable curves apparent.

She accessorized with leopard print bellies and minimal jewellery, completing the ensemble with straight hair falling loose from a middle parting.

Both ladies rank high on the style scale. Bipasha is bringing her usual world-class elegance and sex appeal born of her modelling days. And Sonakshi manages to infuse that good-girl vibe even in this sweet and sassy ensemble. Deciding which one looks better is a task we wouldn’t want to be saddled with.
