Bollywood actor Gul Panag was the guest of honour at the launch of the book “Soldier and Spice” by Aditi Mathur Kumar at the Olive Bar and Kitchen in Mumbai, India on November 12, 2013.

Both ladies took to their Twitter handles to publicise the event. Gul posted that she was on her way to the book launch and Aditi tweeted commented that the army wife (referring to herself) and the army daughter were getting together to launch the book.

Once the book had been unveiled, Gul thanked Aditi for inviting her and said that the book had been so gripping that she had finished reading it in one sitting.

Gul looked lovely in a grey sari with red dominating the pleats, along with blue and green on the border. She paired the nine yards with a sleeveless, low-cut black blouse, accessorizing her outfit with a black cross-shoulder purse, a silver watch, one gold bangle, a couple of finger rings and dangle earrings. The sari was a modern one, but surprisingly low key.

Her cute and sassy bob was styled with curls on the ends, imparting a slightly retro vibe to the ensemble. A pink lippie, darkly lined eyes and a green bindi completed her look. Gul’s ensemble was a refreshing change from her usual avatar.
