Shraddha Kapoor decided to don a sari look during the promotion of her dance based film ABCD 2 on Indian Idol Junior 2. The actress had attended the Mumbai event on May 15 along with her co-star Varun Dhawan.
Coming back to Shraddha’s look, you’ll instantly notice the unusual draping of the sari. This was one of our favorite outfits by Babita Malkani during the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015. Needless to say, we were delighted when Shraddha picked this ensemble.

Besides the contemporary draping style, the outfit featured contrast prints – the feather/leaf prints on the sari and the geometric patterns of the blouse. The choice of soft powder blue color did well to soften that contrast besides giving it a demure and feminine look.
The sari is pre-stitched but we should be able to re-create it with some practice. Though just how remains a big question, since Babita Malkhani is known to be a pro when it comes to draping.

It was only apt that Shraddha let the beautiful attire draw the attention of the look. Keeping all other jewelleries minimal, she added a pair of silver jhumkas and a gold watch. She piled her hair into a topknot and finished off with light grey smokey eyes and soft pink lips. H2T perfection! We loved it!
