Haute Curry, an exclusive Indian wear brand from Shopper Stop unveiled their latest S/S 2014 collection in Mumbai. The showstopper of the show held on June 16th was their brand ambassador, actor cum singer Shruti Hassan. In keeping tune with their fresh, colorful and trendy clothes, Haute Curry’s latest range was a riot of fun and playful Indo western wear.

Shruti Hassan was dressed in a vibrant Indian print maxi dress. It felt as if we spotted a pretty young gypsy girl, well almost, except for the shoes. It was such an eye-sore compared to the Shruti’s lovely outfit. And we were quite surprised why accessories were kept restrained for this look. The right styling would have given it such a lovely boho-chic vibe.

What we did love about her look was her hairstyle. The tiny braids with hints of bright neon bands looked great!
Speaking on the occasion, Shruti said that the clothes by Haute Curry perfectly mirrored her style and personality, funky and brazen yet very Indian, just like her. The brand presented a unique fusion of traditional Indian sensibilities with a modern vibe. She further added that what she especially liked about the brand was that they chose to keep the pricing at an affordable rate without compromising on either style or finishing.

As they put it, Haute Curry is couture for the masses. Their latest product range includes kurtis, modern crop tops, jumpsuits, salwar and anarkali suits, jackets, kaftans, maxi dresses, skirts and trendy shorts. They have also included handbags and deodarants to their product line.
