Celebs spotted in similar outfits aren’t overtly surprising or rather shocking a topic. But when they turn up for the same event dressed in ‘almost’ the same dress, we tend to go – ‘What just happened!’
At the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2015 held in Mumbai on September 26th, two gorgeous ladies Deepika Padukone and Aditi Rao Hydari attended the red carpet dressed in white. Their outfits were – sleeveless, mermaid silhouette, sheer bodice detailing and with asymmetric hemline. Turns out, both their gown were picked from Gaurav Gupta’s collection.

Now if the looks had been styled differently, we would have had something interesting. But sadly, even their styling matched a lot. Middle parted, straight hair worn down, bare minimum accessories and nude make-up. The similarities were a little too much to handle!

The slight difference, thankfully, was with their nude make-up palette. Deepika went for bold, heavy smokey eyes with nude lips. Meanwhile, Aditi went for soft eyes with a strong brow game and doll-like eyelashes, finishing off with light frosty pink lips. And boy, what a difference it made! Both wore their Gaurav Gupta gowns well, almost too well to look like duplicates. But it was Aditi, who won this round.
