Bright and bold colours are the trend of the season. Bet it an orange, yellow, blue or green, everyone seems to be adding a splash of colour in their wardrobes.
Malaika Arora Khan was seen doing just that. She looked fabulous in an Aastha Sethi and Siddharth Arora creation at the Taiwan Excellence SmarTEST Contest 2012 on 17 September this month.

What She Wore
Malaika sported a canary yellow peplum top and blue pant. Personally, I loved the way the peplum top drew attention to her waist and creatively emphasized her figure. The colors were definitely well contrasted and by keeping it as simple as possible, they did not distract the eye. She was styled by Tanya Ghavri.
For her makeup, she added a bit of color to her lips and eyes and kept it subtle. Her hair was done in a ‘half-up half-down’ style by neatly holding the front hair with a slight puff on the top and twisting the remaining locks on the sides in swirls.
To complete her look, she wore a pair of nude Christian Louboutin pumps and accessorized with a few chunky bracelets and a large ring.
How and Where to Sport the Look
This look is great for any function, outing or high profile event especially if you want to stand out and make a fashion statement.
And to think, this is just the beginning of what’s to come this season.
