Deepika Padukone launched a new line of jewellery from Senco Gold & Diamonds inspired by her look in the film ‘Piku’, on May 7th in Mumbai. Titled the ‘Piku jewellery collection’, the range has been specially designed for the modern women that we see in Piku, trendy but with a touch of classy ethnicity.

For the event, Deepika wore a printed Huemn crop top and nude-pink Zara trousers. Keeping all other accessories bare minimum, she used a pair of snakeskin peep-toe heels to give to achieve a glam look. Her make-up was kept light, framed by the gorgeous wavy locks worn down. This is not a look that would look good on everyone, crop top with skin tight trousers and a very light color at that, you need killer abs! And Deepika fit the bill just right, she looked fab!

Speaking at the event, Deepika expressed her excitement to be associated with Senco Gold. She said that being a South Indian girl, gold has a special place in her heart. But she prefers to keep it simple and not just pile on heavy gold. The PIKU collection is exactly what someone like would look for.
Ms. Padukone was accompanied by Juhi Chaturvedi, the script writer of Piku.
