Actress Sridevi launched the book “The Live Well Diet” by Dr. Sarita Davar and chef Sanjeev Kapoor in Mumbai on May 3. It was quite the star-studded event and the guest list included such esteemed members of the creative arts and political community as singer Hariharan, photographer Avinash Govarikar, Sharmila Thackeray, wife of MNS chief Raj Thackeray, Sonali Kulkarni, Shaheen Bhatt, Swaroop Sampat, Soni Razdan and Suchitra Bandekar.

Sanjeev enthusiastically posted live on his Twitter account, describing the unfolding of events for the day as well as praising the book – urging followers to read it if they were looking to take positive steps towards their health and transform their lives.
Sridevi was quite vocal about her appreciation of Dr. Davar’s work. She looked lovely as she went up on stage to talk about the book and pose for pictures with the authors.

The English Vinglish star wore a light, floral-print summer dress from Temperley London. It was sleeveless with a crew neck, and the skirt flared out slightly to create a hypnotic swishing when she walked. She accessorized the pretty number with a lime green clutch by Herve Leger, pink strappy pumps by Gucci and floral stud earrings.
