Indian Independence Day is almost up on us. Bollywood actor Nagma is getting her wardrobe for D-day ready beforehand. She paid a visit to fashion designer Amy Billimoria’s store in Mumbai, India on August 13 to pick something out. Fortunately, Amy had just the thing on hand.

Nagma tried on the special sari which was emblazoned with all the colors of the Indian flag. It was predominantly orange – the shade lighting up the border and the blouse – followed by a large dollop of white splashed with green. Gold ethnic embroidery on the border enhanced the beauty and the vibrant hues of the traditional nine yards.

The lack of much green in the sari was made up for by the emerald stones in her ring bracelet and dangle earrings. A curly side-swept hairstyle completed her look.

Amy was not so traditional in her blue jeans, feminine white shirt and white peep-toes. But we’re sure the talented lass has something very appropriate tucked away for the big day.
