The well known actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha celebrated the wedding of his son Kush with Taruna Agarwal at a lavish ceremony in Mumbai on 18th January. Kush, handles the film and television production business of his father while Taruna is from a London based NRI family in Patna.

The lovely newlyweds received blessings from numerous high profile personalities, some from the film fraternity and some from the political arena. Among them, managing to take time out from his busy schedule was India’s Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. It was quite a warm gesture from the honourable PM towards Shatrughan Sinha who was a former Union Minister and currently a BJP MP from Patna.

Mr Sinha’s daughter, Sonakshi who is a well known Bollywood actress later tweeted a big thank you to the PM for keeping his promise and making the family’s day even more special.

Among those who attended the wedding include Akshay Kumar, Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis besides close friends and family of both the families.
